How Do You Keep Clean?

My favorite thing to eat lately is spinach artichoke hummus and kale chips.  I am obsessed a little actually.  It's just so yummy and made with real ingredients and not bogged down with unpronounceable items.

This is the stuff I look out for more than anything else.  Nowadays so many people will tell you do this, try that, eat 7.5 meals daily of no less than 23 and 46 yada yadas.  I'm exhausted even attempting to provide examples.

I feel best when I eat clean food and drink lots of water.  That's just what works for me.  I like to go to places like Lucky's Market and Whole Foods to find products to try here and there.  Pick up a soup, grab different premade meatballs, try out a new chocolate; basically it's a fun way to scour deals and explore new items that serve ingredients of better substance.

I don't do full shopping at either of these stores.  I find their best use for us is to try new things.  I love the ease of mind of going to these places knowing they serve wholesome products.

I also clearly love grocery shopping and making lists so I think I'll end my ode to clean eating and get back to drafting recipes and meal ideas to buy for.

Ohhh good one, Blogtober.

Someone once told me I reminded them of Drew Barrymore. They didn't say if it was for look or personality, so I'm not sure where they drew the conclusion from. See what I did there?

I threw this out to one of my very best and oldest friends Andrea. Talking it out, we agreed that Drew and I do share some similar qualities, both in personality and in dressing and accessorizing. Andrea reasoned that Drew is quirky and a little less traditional, much like me. I reasoned we have the same headbands:

I also recalled that when I was a little girl, everyone thought I looked like a young Drew Barrymore. Both my parents have said people would come up to them all the time and remark on my resemblance to her in that movie Firestarter:

Whatever it is, I would absolutely be pleased if Drew played me in a movie.

Irrational Rationing...

The past year of my life has been spent blogging; two of my four classes necessary for graduation required them and at my internship I blogged. Why not give the world my opinion on any subject I choose? It's free and it's mine to share, right? Absolutely!

So, to start, what do I want my tone to be? Tone is a very important factor, you know. It can make or break a piece. People want to identify a tone or purpose, which they often misconstrue as meaning the same thing. Oh, people-my favorite breed:)

So let's see. There's:
Informative? Will I provide people with knowledge about various subjects and try to teach? Eh.

How about super upbeat and positive? Like, I'll provide people with a reason to live to log on to read the next uplifting piece of blog. Eh.

How about super dreary? Dreary works. Most people would rather be perfectly miserable than divinely happy. Eh. Decisions.
