Does this flower make my head look big? #whichone

My dad always says to me "Why didn't you get the big one?" when he sees majority of my accessories.  So when Hunty and I stopped for orange juice at a local citrus company during a travel business day, I had to giggle when I saw this potential hair piece for myself. Happy Sunday!

When a Man Loves a Mouse

Once upon a time two weeks ago, I was minding my own business, when the seductress of my dreams sent me an email.  Yes, that's right; my dreammaker known as Kate Spade, emails me weekly.  It's kind of our thing, she emails me stylish and fabulous things, and I drool and suck the air out of the room gasping with delight at alll the pretty things. This particular email, with a subject of Into the Wild, made mention of new goodies on her website.  I said to myself, "Don't even look.  You're not in the market.  You have enough leopard.  You don't care for zebra.  Maybe just a peek to assure yourself."  By the way, welcome to my inner thought process. As soon as I clicked, my heart stopped, my jaw dropped, my good intentions went out the window.  There, in all her glory, as part of the Cat's Meow Collection , was a MOUSE satchel!!!!!! Quick back story: My grandpa has called me Megan Mouse my entire life.  He does a happy squ...

A Catch Up Collection

Hello Lovers! I stepped away from blogging adventures due to having family in town to visit with and extra busy work commitments.  Damn it feels good to be gangsta an adult. Alas, have no fear, I have taken pics of what I've been up to in order to come back to this lil'space sharing deets.  Because if you don't live life and then blog about it, did it really even happen?  Exactly! One #ootd post , coming right up!  This would be a tale of pure luck in the regard that I got to work Thursday, looked in my planner to see what J'adore June's topic was, only to be more than prepared with my garden principessa look on deck.  I dig when that happens.  See what I did there? Next up: family visiting.  Specifically, 2 of our nephews, our only niece, and one sister in law for me, straight up sister for Hunty. This little lamb:::love sooooo big!  I was more than prepared to visit her with a bow in tow, pink nail polish on standby, and a cup...

Sweet Treat

Oh Kate Spade 75% off sale, you'll always have my heart You smell that?  Lemons.  Summer.  Sea salt.  Pepper needs a bath.  No?  Just me and my sense of smell that is returning party people!  I couldn't be happier to smell all the smells and the true transition to sweet, sweet summah times that is upon us. Summer officially kicks off June 21st.  Now that particular weekend we are actually going to be in Chicago multi-celebrating Hunter's college graduation, his 30th birthday, and the start of summer.  We will hopefully be full of laughter from comedy shows, sunkissed from galavanting and trekking every which way, and will be deciding on the next type of deep dish pizza we plan to indulge in. We haven't had a vacay like this in a few...

Almost summer

I love fashion, particularly summer time fashion. The bright colors, patterns, the sandals---summertime gets me! When planning this outfit, I figured it would be best to OOTD-it with a pre-summer look encompassing all of my faves. I needed something that would keep me cute, but also cool cool cool. Here in the good ol'sunshine state, we have officially crossed through the threshold of dog ass hot, humid, sweat in 2 seconds of being outside heat. Good times, Florida. I usually feel a little silly posing for style shots until I get going. Then I like to think it comes naturally. Yea, that's it. Natural. When in doubt, get fancy with that stancey! And of course, get those accessories working for ya! The best part of any masterpiece is the cherries on top. Go 'head and throw on some fab jewels in fun punchy colors! As always, have fun with fashion and your style. Mix it up, have a good time. Remember, you're doing it right when you make it work for you...

Currently: Being a Fashion Blogger

Coming to you late this evening but by God I am here! I am determined not to miss my personal goal to not only post daily to Insta during The Daily Tay's Instagram Challenge , but also to blog daily. It may be close but it ain't midnight! Anyhow, today's prompt is #Currently. As I was scrolling my Insta feed this morning, I found that my very favorite boutique Francescas's posted an #OOTD challenge . As luck would have it, or really not luck at all but rather a shopping problem, I was currently wearing a ring, a bracelet, necklace, dress, and earrings all from my beloved Franny's . All also from entirely different shopping adventures too. #accessoriesaddiction The challenge set forth from Franny's said to post a pic of you showing off your creativity in your Francescas's best. So I give you how I typically dress all day every day: I felt mildly goofy but also giddy. I love fashion and it wasn't all bad posing randomly and having my go...

Derby Day

In honor of Derby Day/Saturday Drinks for #20HappyDaysInMay, I celebrated just as my Poppy would have. Derby Day was his favorite, most favorite day ever! Always a betting man, he would ask for your bet on your horse as soon as you were awake, collect your bet, and be giddy throughout the day all through race time. His little feet would kick with happiness as they raced round that track and excitement was contagious to any person around him. He also loved a roll with buttah to dunk in his coffee. I prefer tea. #danzigmoonforthewin #wedidntwin Fact: You may have too many accessories when you happen to have a fascinator in your collection perfect for Derby watching: Fact #2: What is this mythical thing mentioned of too many accessories? #thelimitdoesnotexist My favorite bettin' bubsy: Happy Weekending! Until we meet again, M

My View

My view today is simple, endearing, and accessorized. In short, just like I like things in life. I'm a proud University of Central Florida alumKNIGHT so when I was gifted this fab Alex and Ani jewelry piece, well let's just say my week was made. Twinkle, twinkle and knight knight dolls. Until we meet again, M

Omg Shoes

I'm a shoe gal...said most women everywhere. I've always been a shoe lady and most likely will always follow suit on this passion. I've done the leg work on all kinds and types, have the blisters and scars, and lack of closet space to prove it. In no particular order of preference, I have experienced the love and joy of the following types of shoe: wedges, espadrilles, stiletto, high rise boots, bootie boots, ballets, peep toe, gladiator, oh my! And of course there was that unfortunate phase of kitten heeled. Le, sigh. We've all got demons. What I've learned in my years of connoisseurship for feet accessories, is that the quote in the above picture is beyond correct. Whenever I need to hustle in the utmost of style, I've got my go to foot ditties. When the time comes to hustle in style yet comfort, I know. When the time calls for who cares how I feel, how do I look?? ...I'm on it. But for every instance we can imagine, the truth is in the foot...

Pretty Little Things

A few of my favorite things for this late night post. I love my jewelry now, and of course some good office type accessories. I guess my overall theme to life is pretty little things in the form of decor, whether for body or desk. What are your favorite pretty little things? Until we meet again, M

'If I can have any impact, I want women to feel good about themselves and have fun with fashion' - Michelle Obama

Some #ootd's I'm playing with for the week ahead. Getting dressed is most definitely my favorite time of day. Until we meet again, M

Blogtober Day 17! I'm an expert at...

I have always had quirky style and have adored accessorizing said quirky style since, oh, say, birth. It's just been my thing. See? 1991: I mean, just look at my pink only inspired accessories that I dug out for a bachelorette party: It ain't right, some may say. It's perfect, is what I hear. While I am not an expert at much, I am an expert at accessorizing my unique style and for that I am more than content: What can I say? I keep the lights on at certain establishments while embellishing...well, myself. Happy Stylin'! Until we meet again, M

Blogtober Day 16! Fall Fashion

I positively adore fall fashion. Here in the good ol'sunshine state, there is a style all our own going on in the cooler months; notice how I didn't say colder weather. However, today is certainly the day to talk fall fashion, because we have ourselves a fabulous chilly day upon us! Hallelujah y'all! My favorite Florida fall looks involve transitional pieces from spring and summer. For example, I took my favorite investment piece from this past spring, a black maxi dress, and married it with another fave: scarves. The rest for me in fall fashion, well all year long if I'm being honest , lies in accessorizing. I love colors any season, and for fall I usually keep it transitional as well, while embracing the new season. My trick is to factor in bright summery shades, like the orange flower and light teal-ish scarf, while incorporating deeper jewel tones, as seen with both my green stoned earrings and the gold with onyx pair. I love fashion all year long...
