Writing under the radar

I love coming here just to write. We all need an outlet and this is mine. I'm enjoying taking 30 minutes daily to write. Whatever is on the tip of my mind is fair game for subject and however long or short is the right answer. It's divine to have this space.

Writing here centers me. I need my own creative outlet. Especially because professionally I am constantly using creativity for work projects and I'm the type of creative who needs to nurture my own to be most effective otherwise.

Any other creatives feel this too?

Blogtober Dayyyy 27! A Letter To Your Younger Self

First of all, this is my 203rd post! I slid right on by the day I hit 200, probably in a haze from writing so many days consistently like this. Simple blessings

I’m lying in bed, next to a snoring husband and my baby girl dogter sprawled out cozy as can be, while the rain falls down upon our roof. Gone are the days of spending a Saturday night downtown at a club, throwing beers back in a honky think, or galavanting around to anywhere with the lights on. And I’m not mad about it. Not even a little bit. There is tilt no place I’d rather be than with hunter, Roni and our comfy sweet little home happily netflixing and writing this here post. It’s a good feeling indeed. I count my blessings extra on nights like this and say a few additional prayers for love and comfort to continue on. I truly don’t ask for more than health, happiness, and love. Anything else is gravy. To simple blessings for all.

Blogtober day 24, One Beauty Product You Can't Live Without

Hands down, lip lip stuff. I've been wearing lipstick since I was approximately age three and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. Its the final step when applying my makeup and my favorite because it completes a look.
