Mornings like these...

Mornings like this morning are some of my favorites. I like to wake up whenever my internal clock tells me to, which is always before 8, and get some movement going. #longgonethedaysofsleepingtil3. I always leave the option there to sleep longer, but it never plays out like that.

I quietly slip on workout clothes, sunscreen it up, grab a water, and hit the pavement. Right by our house is a trail that is just perfect for trekking along. There's a point where a line of woods end and just beyond there is a pond on the golf course. The sun always sits atop it beautifully, whether brightly shining or not quite there yet. I always stop and take it in. It reminds me of my hometown, a beach/river town, and gives me a sense of ease. Who says you have to go home to go home again?

Oh and who says you have to have only one fave part of any morning or moment? Never me! This was my other favorite part of this morning:

Coming home and whipping up breakfast for my bub and I to enjoy together certainly lives high on my list for favorite parts of the day.

Happy Sunday friends!

Until we meet again,

Today is a good day, my friends. Today means at the 6 o'clock hour I shall enter a four day weekend. Full of what, you ask? So far on the agenda is:

-trying out a very new and deliciously enticing restaurant known as Cooper's Hawk and Winery;
-finishing the rest of season 5 and all of season 6 for Sons of Anarchy-which is phenom BTW;
-and enjoying the beautiful weather we are projected to experience, with extra SPF of course.

I like to call this agenda a little something known as living the American dream indeed.

Oh and I'll be toting around my newly obtained Kate Spades. Surprise 75% off sale, what? I CANNOT wait for the tote! I'll give you a hint until I can show the new ol'gal off #baconeggandcheeseplease :):)

Any how, I have to go shopping now ( Love a good Pretty Woman reference) get to finishing my day so the fun can begin. Hope everyone has a safe, fun, relaxing good time. Or go wild and have to retrace events to determine how good it really was. Ju…

A man is not very tired. He is exhausted

I know. This is days after the initial blow of learning that this wonderful human being's life ended. What in the world. Talk about a cherished existence. The man my parents still rave about because of his stand up comedy, the man who forever changed the way I say "Hellloooooo" in an older British woman's voice, this great giant. How sad. I feel for the fact that Robin hit a level from which he could not rise. Depression, anxiety, stress are awful beasts.

I do not believe in the mentality, that someone who takes their life is selfish. Sure, it's not the kindest thing to leave behind for loved ones to cope with, but if something has it's grasp on a person, well, choices are made. It is devastating that there is still so much stigma for diseases like depression and anxiety. What?! Get the hell out of here with that mess. I would not wish it upon the biggest naysayer even to prove a point. So, to that, I say screw the assholes saying derogatory …
