Sundays are for...

Nutrients and self care.
With Sunday being an all intended day of rest, I like to reserve at least a portion of time for just that.  I like to rejuvenate and replenish so an extra glass of kale tonic hits the mark these days.

Writing.
Setting up blog posts for me personally, writing for clients, scribbling out another chapter of a book, Sundays are most definitely for writing.

Shaking and baking.
Sundays bring an air about them that's just meant for prepping at least some parts of your world for the week.  Laundry catch-up, food preparations, outline intentions and commitments and goals to achieve for the week ahead.

Faith and sweat.
I personally like to get out for a nice walk.  A hearty blood pumping, sweaty walk.  Somehow the sweat always leads to the faith part.  My mind naturally clears and I always find clarity for faith and grace alike.  This might be my favorite combination.

Loving on lovies.
Spend time with those you can't get enough of.  Earmark a speck of time for extra hugs and chats alike.

Self care reset

We all hear the buzzwords self care more than ever these days. Every where you turn, a lifestyle blogger, health guru, or magazine article shares insight on ways to treat yo self to some basic T.

While I love modern discussions as much as the next girl, I’m aware sometimes it just doesn’t fit and you have to reset what isn’t working. Roni ate a crayon

The middle part. Perhaps like real food, is this the juiciest part? I don’t know why or what got into her but she not usually isn’t a newer or eater of non edible items. My girl is sophisticated; enjoys edamame with a little sea salt, broiled chicken, and sweet potato dog cookies, she’s not some gremlin with an anything goes pallet.

The number one thing that has changed with Roni since Pepper went to sleep would be her appetite. She eats, yes, but she’s veryyyyy particular. She won’t eat just to eat anymore. Like dogs do, she was always quick to scarf down food or treats because she worried Pepper would beat her to it. She be little but she is fierce when it comes to her grub.

Anyhow, we don’t love her new decision making abilities and would love it if she did not do such a mongrel thing to do. My little angel baby, love colorfully in a better way.

Simple blessings

I’m lying in bed, next to a snoring husband and my baby girl dogter sprawled out cozy as can be, while the rain falls down upon our roof. Gone are the days of spending a Saturday night downtown at a club, throwing beers back in a honky think, or galavanting around to anywhere with the lights on.

And I’m not mad about it. Not even a little bit. There is tilt no place I’d rather be than with hunter, Roni and our comfy sweet little home happily netflixing and writing this here post. It’s a good feeling indeed.

I count my blessings extra on nights like this and say a few additional prayers for love and comfort to continue on. I truly don’t ask for more than health, happiness, and love. Anything else is gravy.
