Pops of Pink: Insta Photo Challenge, Day 13

I grew up in a beach town and am happy to say as each year goes on in my life, I am ever more grateful for this fact. With beautiful non-commercialized beaches, my hometown to this day offers the most amazing ocean side options. And no where in town is more than a 15 minute drive to said beaches so it's truly a fortunate aspect to living there.

My lovey bunny and I ventured to the water today and had ourselves a much needed, very appreciated day of smelling salt in the air and sun loving, while under an adorable umbrella of course. So much of our time is spent running and going constantly, it's easy to get away from kicking back near the ocean. Our venture today was sporadic, we literally decided in about 20 minutes to jump up, grab towels, sunscreen, snacks, and hit the road east.

While there, I remembered today's photo challenge was #popsofpink, and luckily found myself popping pink from my head to my toes nails. But really, the pop star here is the beautiful blue skies and water. #gorgeous

Happy Monday!

Until we meet again,

A man is not very tired. He is exhausted

via

I know. This is days after the initial blow of learning that this wonderful human being's life ended. What in the world. Talk about a cherished existence. The man my parents still rave about because of his stand up comedy, the man who forever changed the way I say "Hellloooooo" in an older British woman's voice, this great giant. How sad. I feel for the fact that Robin hit a level from which he could not rise. Depression, anxiety, stress are awful beasts.

I do not believe in the mentality, that someone who takes their life is selfish. Sure, it's not the kindest thing to leave behind for loved ones to cope with, but if something has it's grasp on a person, well, choices are made. It is devastating that there is still so much stigma for diseases like depression and anxiety. What?! Get the hell out of here with that mess. I would not wish it upon the biggest naysayer even to prove a point. So, to that, I say screw the assholes saying derogatory …

My dear, If at first you don't succeed, throw on another accessory & try, try again

Off to try, try again!

Til we meet again,

Anything is possible with sunshine and a little pink -Lilly Pulitzer

Today is a good day, my friends. Today means at the 6 o'clock hour I shall enter a four day weekend. Full of what, you ask? So far on the agenda is:

-trying out a very new and deliciously enticing restaurant known as Cooper's Hawk and Winery;
-finishing the rest of season 5 and all of season 6 for Sons of Anarchy-which is phenom BTW;
-and enjoying the beautiful weather we are projected to experience, with extra SPF of course.

I like to call this agenda a little something known as living the American dream indeed.

Oh and I'll be toting around my newly obtained Kate Spades. Surprise 75% off sale, what? I CANNOT wait for the tote! I'll give you a hint until I can show the new ol'gal off #baconeggandcheeseplease :):)

Any how, I have to go shopping now ( Love a good Pretty Woman reference) get to finishing my day so the fun can begin. Hope everyone has a safe, fun, relaxing good time. Or go wild and have to retrace events to determine how good it really was. Ju…
