Be back soon to talk vacay!

Hellooooo Lovies! I have returned from le city of Chicago!  We had fun, so so much of it, and I can't wait to come back and catch you up on all that we got to experience.  I would actually love to do that now but real life kicked in as soon as we landed back in the sunshine state and I am still adjusting from such a wonderful break away. As soon as I get my groove back for daily life and get done hugging our pups and catching up with them, I will get to recapping how the #munterheganstakechicago. Until we meet again, M

Well, looky looky who we have here

I have been absent for a bit, no? I swear it wasn't on purpose. Life has got me moving in several directions and I am so thrilled and thankful! Things have been exciting and busy and keeping me running with every ounce of my being. I love and thrive for it! So in no particular order I have been... In a wedding and taking part in all the wonderful coinciding events leading up to a wedding. Seriously, my good friend got married and it was an AMAZING time from the start of planning all the way through the big day!! I'm sad it's over! But I'll be back to thoroughly blog about that in a day or two; Working on an incredibly and stupendously fabulous special assignment at work; Cooking a whole lot at home-thus cleaning up after working long, happily tiresome days; Baking with my girlfran business partners; Beginning the second phase of the Leadership Academy my company has; Loving my Hunter Bear and of course the Pepper-Roni, even if they were b...

Blogtober Recap and Takeaways

The challenge of Blogtober has come and gone. I am pleased to acknowledge my full 31 day participation. This was my main reason to join in on this fabulous Helene and Taylor Link Up , so I feel all elated, like after any good marathon. Some nights, well, my bed won the debate, thus causing me to get up and be sure to write a good post at the start of my day. Let me just say, this required a 30 minute earlier than normal wake up time. There were about 3 topics I didn't know what to say. I remember I went to bed so disappointed when the first prompt that I was like uh-oh, this 31 days straight may not happen because I have nothing to say, occurred. But as any good writer's block happens, it cleared. An "I'll face it in the morning" approach worked in my favor. The post in question, about my funniest memory from childhood , ended up b...

I'll look back on this and smile because it was life and I decided to live it

I know, I know, somebody's been a really bad blogger and that somebody is me. I'm here, I have no fear, I'm ready to rock. To be honest I have absolutely no excuse other than I plain didn't want to write anything. Inspiration was lacking to put thoughts outside my head and that's pretty much it. I love the feeling I have coming into today's post; I am eager and anxiously excited to get some words down and share the ton of pics I have that will aid in recapping where I've been. Since we last chatted, tons of fun life moments commenced so in no particular order: My good friend Ronda, her sweet fur gal Tessa and I attended the Food Truck Bazaar in Avalon Park. This was amazing; the weather was clear and sunny, the food choices were plentiful and delectable: I even managed to share the above photographed cupcake with Hunter when I got home instead of scarfing it down myself :) We helped my dad celebrate another year of life and managed to complete...
